I picked her up from the airport Thursday afternoon and we met up with Jake for lunch. Later that night we walked to the nearby red box to rent "Wreck It Ralph"
Our first day we spent the morning at the pool, relaxing under the palm trees
Pedicures were next on the list. We went to see "Admission" that night
Saturday we went shopping in Scottsdale and went to "The Croods"
Sunday morning we took Jake to the airport and decided to spend the last few hours at the pool again
Guess what we found in the water...?
The whole weekend I spent time searching for a new pair of shorts since it's getting quite warm here. I didn't have much luck, and of course Jake comes up with the most obvious idea to use an old pair of jeans and cut them. So after we spent our last hour at the pool my mom helped me cut my jeans into some great shorts!

My kids would have loved the snake in the pool. They would have been diving in to get it and try to keep it as a pet.
ReplyDeleteIt looked a lot like a snake, especially since the water was constantly moving because of the waterfall. Snakes have to breathe, though, and this one didn't. Uh huh--palm tree leaf :D.
DeleteI was pretty excited thinking it was a snake too, but it did turn out to be just a palm tree leaf. If you want to still tell Hayden and Zeke that we have snakes in our pool though you can :)
