I guess when you're married you get to experience a lot of "firsts". First Christmas, first New Year, first Valentine's day, first Easter, first year together.. so many firsts! Jake and I have known each other almost 7 years now so a lot of these "firsts" are not really first at all. However, it doesn't make them any less special. What's great about finding someone to spend the rest of your life with is knowing how to make the first and second and even seventh special occasion
feel like the first.
Last night Jake made me one of my most favorite dinners and we spent our first Valentine's day as a married couple together. What made it so special was not that it was our first, it was that it
wasn't ;)
